While we wish we could participate in all charitable causes-and do our best to engage in as many as possible – we have found it necessary to create some guidelines, noted below.

We can only accept donation requests from non-profit groups or organizations in our local area (Oneida County/Mohawk Valley/Central New York)

We are unable to consider donations to individual causes/events

We generally donate Saranac products on a buy-one-get-one-free basis, rather than contributing monetarily.

Because of the nature of our business, we are also unable to support or make donations to groups or organizations that benefit children under the legal drinking age of 21.

Saranac is an Iroquois word meaning “Cluster of Stars” – a name fitting for a beer brewed in the foothills of the Adirondack Mountains, home to the Iroquois Native Americans. Not only do we brew our beers from the water that flows from the Adirondacks and the grains that grow in its soil, we also like to think of our family of beers as a cluster of stars – each unique and brilliant in its own way.

Use the ‘Beer Finder’ on our website to find retailers closest to you. If that doesn’t work, feel free to get in touch via Twitter or Facebook; we’ll get back to you soon.

Brew Finder

We wish there was an easy answer to this question. Trust us, we would love to be everywhere you are. Second best answer would be that we could ship you what you’re looking for, but unfortunately federal regulations prohibit us from doing so. Sadly, we can only hope you’ll continue your search of Saranac when you cross state lines, visit us in Utica and continue to spread the word. Some say demand creates supply.

Our website proudly displays our offering of core products available all year long including Pale Ale, Legacy IPA, Adirondack Lager and GEN IV. Depending on the season, our website will also introduce you to our limited release seasonal brews and seasonal mixed packs. For of-the-moment news on our latest product releases and to share your favorites join us on Facebook.

Our brewing philosophy is to create “round” beers. In simple terms that means we want our beers to be unique yet drinkable, so you can enjoy them one after another. So we have a team of master brewers that is committed to making really drinkable beers, but also thinking about how we can integrate interesting ingredients and incorporate new brewing processes so that you can taste our commitment to quality in each bottle.

It’s in our best interest to make sure you’re drinking fresh beer, so trust us, we do our best. But if your beer doesn’t taste quite right, check the Julian date on the bottle shoulder (just above the label). The first three digits represent the day of the year (out of 365) and the fourth digit represents the year the bottle was produced.

Sorry we haven’t answered your questions here, but look forward to hearing from you.
