Serving up something warmer: our thanks
At this special time of year, we take a moment from our brewing (we’re kind of obsessive about it) to thank all of you who are the heart and soul of Saranac. We brew it because we want to share it with you, our dedicated and discerning drinkers, who appreciate great beer. There’s nothing like having a fellow aficionado feel the same pleasure, excitement and discovery when tasting a new or traditional brew. So thanks very much, Saranac fans, suppliers and distributors, employees, family and friends, for all your support year round.
And don’t forget to appreciate a relaxing and unique breakfast with friends and family: meet us for Kegs & Eggs at the Brewery on Black Friday morning, November 27th from 8 AM - 12 Noon. For only $5, enjoy breakfast, live music, door prizes and Saranac beer!

Saranac 12 Beers of Winter Tasting
Nick and Fred Matt apply their taste buds (and unique humor) to our new 12 Beers of Winter 12 pack, with an entertaining review of six different seasonal beers. Grab your own 12 pack and join them in our 1888 tavern for a refreshing take on this year’s Winter brews: Saranac Winter Lager, Saranac Black Lager, Saranac Rye IPA, Saranac Big Moose Ale, Saranac Maple Porter and Saranac Belgian Ale. After doing your own tasting with friends, send us your review. Cheers! - Please only forward this video to people over 21.
News to Warm the Heart
ABC News has started what are considered, “digital news bureaus” at five of the country’s top journalism schools, one of which is Syracuse University's S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications. Journalism students create and edit video reports for posting on ABC News’ website, using their own initiative and story ideas of interest to their peers. Since Syracuse is less than an hour’s drive away from our Brewery, two of their "ABC News on Campus" student reporters, Julia and Mark, recently visited the Brewery to do a story featuring our very own Pumpkin Ale. Original reporting and on-the-spot interviews with tour participants at our 1888 Tavern highlight a great little feature about one of our favorite brews.
The story ran on the Good Morning America weekend page, the ABCNews.com homepage and a World News webcast. It’s comforting to know the future of journalism is in the hands of discerning beer fans like Julia and Mark.
